A coincidence is perceived as either meaningful or not. Sometimes they can be perceived to come from God and be a sign that God is working in the universe to make things better for all of us. Some people can take an extreme view that God is communicating with them through a coincidence, that there is a kind of internal synchronicity going on where God and man meet at an intended moment that has been planned for a long time. I take the extreme view in this document. I believe that God has been attempting to send messages to me and to all of us, and that those messages have a clear meaning. Primarily they signal an end to the End Times and the beginning of a brave new world.
If we were able to live at the level of the soul all the time, there would be no need for hindsight to appreciate the great truths of life. We would know them in advance. The path would be clearly marked, and we would need no signposts, no clues, and no coincidences.
Most of us don’t live at the level of the soul, however, so we must rely on coincidences to show us the will of the universe. We have all experienced coincidences in our lives. The word itself perfectly describes its meaning: co means “with,” and incidence means “event”. So the word coincidence refers to events or incidents that occur with other incidents – two or more events occurring at the same time. Because the experience of coincidences is universal, most people take them for granted, life’s little quirky moments that we marvel over, then quickly forget.
Coincidences are so much more than amusements. A coincidence is a clue to the intention of the universal spirit, and as such it is rich with significance. Some people use the phrase “meaningful coincidence” to describe events happening at the same time that have some special meaning for the person who experienced them. But I believe “meaningful coincidence” is redundant because every coincidence is meaningful; otherwise it would not happen in the first place. The very fact that it happens is meaningful. It’s just that sometimes we are able to glimpse its meaning and sometimes we aren’t. (Dr Deepak Chopra, from SynchroDestiny, (Random House))
I didn’t always think that God was sending me messages. Once upon a time I would have believed that messages are very rare and that they might never happen in a person’s lifetime. I was an ordinary Catholic in other words, who believed that there were mysteries that we don’t understand like at Lourdes, Fatima, and Knock.
Now I believe that messages in the form of coincidences are quite frequent. This is especially true in recent years as they relate to the Book of Revelation. For example, one of the most commonly mentioned coincidences to have occurred is in relation to the Chernobyl disaster. Chernobyl means Wormwood in English and one of seven trumpets heralding the second coming of Christ in the Book of Revelation talks of a star called Wormwood (Rev 8: 11) making a large area of water turn bitter and killing “many people”.
This booklet is an attempt to explain the nature and extent of those coincidences to the uninitiated. Although coincidences can be seen as a matter of probability, I think it’s fair to say that in my model nothing has been left to chance
