Heavenly Bliss! An Introduction to an Irish Heaven On a night out in August 1988 the author, then studying for his Chartered Accountancy exams, sustained a broken nose after being head-butted by a soon-to-be-member of Derry’s legal profession, Kevin Casey. Over the course of the following year or so this trainee solicitor attempted to bully and intimidate the author. The author finally triumphed over his adversary, but unfortunately the damage had already been done: due to the sustained pressure exerted by his foe on top of the gruelling exam pressure, he became ill with a mood disorder in 1990. In the midst of the illness something died within him, and he was raced to heaven. He feels that God judged him fit for the Kingdom, but returned him to this life in order to make things better. In this book, for the first time since 1990 the author describes his trip to and his week in heaven. He describes the events as they happened and the sense of amazement and contentment at some of the things that people experienced in the afterlife. He also describes the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, fruitfulness, gentleness, and self-control that defined the heaven-dwellers. And the pure wickedness of the craic they got up to.
